MSU Textbook Prices Preview

Michigan State University students are constantly complaining about the excessive prices they have to pay each semester to purchase textbooks for their courses.

There are many reactions to this issue that include displeasure in the idea of having students pay large sums of money to purchase textbooks in addition to already soaring tuition prices.

Parents like Karol Rowan are outraged in the idea that their sons and daughter have to also pay for subscriptions to different online websites just in order to do practice problems or turn in their homework.

All professors vary in what they require their students to purchase in order to succeed in their course.

Some professors write their own textbook and require their classes to purchase it, and other professors publish all their course readings online to help students save some money.
