MSU Textbook Prices Recap

Students from Michigan State University voiced their opinions on having to purchase textbooks for each class every semester.

Many students are angry over the issue that they have to pay for textbooks out of their pocket each semester, which can average around $500.

Students also mentioned on more than one occasion that they do not have time to balance a job throughout their study schedule to help pay for these books.

Student loans also don’t account for the prices students have to pay each semester on textbooks.

Another common complaint that comes up is that the MSU bookstore buys back books in the same condition in which they were purchased for a significantly lower price than it was originally purchased.
